EXPERTISE

Olga Ianushevych advises our clients on corporate law, draws up the constituent documents of subsidiaries of foreign companies, employment contracts with directors, taking into account individual requests and needs of each client.

Olga has extensive experience in providing legal advice on labour legislation, including the types and duration of leave, working hours and forms of work organization, grounds and procedures for employees’ dismissal in Ukraine, drawing up employment contracts, job descriptions, internal regulations, etc.

Olga also advises clients on various issues of tax legislation, including agreements between Ukraine and other countries on the avoidance of double taxation.

Besides, Olga specializes in issues related to scheduled and unscheduled inspections of business entities by government agencies and prosecution of enterprises and their officials for violations identified during inspections.

Olga helps our clients – foreign IT companies to structure their business in Ukraine properly, taking into account the requirements of Ukrainian tax legislation, as well as effectively protects the intellectual property rights of our clients.

  • advising a German company, one of the world leaders in the production of window profiles, on the lawful dismissal of a Ukrainian director, legal support for the dismissal and appointment of a new director;
  • providing legal support for the suspension and closure of enforcement proceedings in the courts of Germany concerning the enforcement of a loan agreement secured by land and other real estates;
  • preparation and preliminary coordination of the amicable agreement with the German notary, representation of interests of the client (the law firm registered under the legislation of the Republic of Cyprus) at the certification of the amicable agreement by the notary;
  • advising non-resident individuals and legal entities on the opening of medical practice in Ukraine;
  • providing tax advice to an Austrian company on controlled transactions and the risk of recognizing its activities in Ukraine as a permanent representation of a non-resident.

BACKGROUND

In 2005 Olga Ianushevych graduated from the Civil Law Faculty of the Odessa National Law Academy with a master’s degree with honors.

In 2011 she received a master’s degree in law (Magister Legum, LL.M.) from the European University Viadrina (Frankfurt (Oder), Germany), defending her master’s thesis on the topic: “The significance of compensation for non-pecuniary damage in German law before and after adoption of the Second Law on Amendments to the Legislation on Damage Compensation dated 1 August 2002.”

Olga joined the DLF team in 2020.
