EXPERTISE
Iurii Dynys has over 20 years of experience in providing legal support to businesses in the banking, investment and agribusiness sectors as an independent legal adviser and head of legal services of banks and agribusiness companies in Ukraine.
Iurii specializes in legal due diligence, mergers/acquisitions, contract and corporate law, foreign investment protection, relationships with banks and financial institutions, privacy and intellectual property protection in Ukraine.
Iurii has advised on more than 300 acquisitions of agricultural and agro-industrial assets. He conducted due diligence and management of land banks with an area of 30 to 130 thousand hectares, IPO of a Ukrainian agricultural holding company and raising financing from banks and international financial institutions.
Working at banks as head of legal departments, a member of the credit committee and as an independent consultant, Iurii has performed due diligence of over 1000 borrowing companies, assisted in investment projects and dealt with debt recovery issues. He was also involved in the implementation of systematic management of legal departments and integration of legal risk management algorithms into the business processes of Ukrainian companies and banks.
Years of experience allows Iurii to deeply understand business realities and practical needs of both Ukrainian and foreign clients. Iurii helps to set up and structure Ukrainian companies and commercial projects, particularly banks and agribusinesses.
BACKGROUND
Iurii Dynys graduated from the Institute of International Relations in 1999 and obtained a Master’s degree in International Law (specializing in Private International Law), as well as in English translation.
In 1998-2000, he worked as a lawyer in the Head Office of Prominvestbank of Ukraine.
From 2000 to 2007 he headed the legal departments of National Credit Bank and Universal Development and Partnership Bank and was a member of the credit and tariff committees of the banks.
From 2007 to 2015 Iurii was head of the legal and land department of an industrial dairy company.
From 2015 to 2021 he worked as an independent advisor on international, corporate, and contract law, intellectual property right and management of companies’ legal services.
In 2021, Iurii joined the DLF team as Counsel.
